We saw a need in the oil and gas industry, for time-saving, accessible, and easy-to use data management and we sought out database professionals to assist us in designing exactly that.

Foremost in our improvements are the streamlined reporting procedures that are programmed into every project and the automated reporting with distribution schedules. A land professional’s time is a valuable commodity, therefore automating the reporting allows one to concentrate on performing land work rather than administrative tasks. Questionnaires we sent out reflect that our land professionals spend 12-14% of their time reporting statistics for clients and time worked. Our automated reporting will cut that number down by 10%. Less time spent reporting equates to more value for our clients.
Secondly, the manner in which we populate our databases eliminates any redundant work on a project, which is the primary reason we started this project. The moment any member of a project team saves changes to a record, it is available to the entire team. There is no lapse of data. This accurate and accountable collaboration further improves productivity of our land professionals. Any field personnel will have instant access to the data and will have the ability to search records and have informed discussions with any client or landowner in a matter of seconds. Our number one goal at DataPush is to improve productivity on projects by 17-19%, and we will always strive to improve that number.
Because all transactions are logged by username and password every record will have a history of any changes from inception of the project until it is completed. The log will show date, time, user and any changes to the record. All work is completely documented.
If you have an Internet connection, a browser & an account you have all you need. Records can be entered and viewed within the office, from home, or even when one is out of town, and immediately the changes made are viewable by all users of that database.
How safe is my data with DataPush?
Almost certainly much safer than on your computer or in your organization's office. Our infrastructure partner is the largest hosting provider in the world. Our data center uses nine redundant network providers, strict access control, biometric security, 24-hour interior and exterior surveillance, background checks for employees, redundant HVAC systems, air filtration, advanced fire suppression, redundant on-site power generation, and so on.
How secure is DataPush?
We have never had a customer's account compromised by a third party. Access to your data is controlled by user accounts that you set up. For each user, you can control which databases they have access to, and whether that access includes adding, viewing, editing, or deleting records. Those permissions, in turn, can be tied to whether a user is involved with a record or was the creator of a record. We don't allow usernames to be recycled, and have stringency requirements on passwords.
How often is my data backed up?
All data is stored simultaneously on redundant storage devices in real-time. From that redundant system, we back up all customer data every hour around the clock. We can roll your data back to any single hour in the last 30 hours, any day in the last 35 days, or any Sunday morning, ever.
It is our belief that decreasing the frequency that data is handled increases accuracy. Eliminating steps and allowing the personnel closest to the project to populate the project data is one of the primary goals of this database. Improved accuracy means improved productivity.
It is the primary design of this product and this company to improve the way people use data and how the data flows to them.
This is an example of how the data flows in a traditional project. While there is collaboration with all parties it is important to notice that we all communicate with the person who is in need at that moment. In an environment of constant need communication can be compromised if it is not all documented properly.
LTR – Live Time Reporting
With the Live Time Reporting the flow of data all resides in one location. The data is captured as it is entered by any of the parties of the project, and is available to all parties in the team. As data is entered it is not a matter of reporting it to the right team member, it is a matter of designing the report for the team member. All data is captured real time for all reporting, so data flows where it belongs.
